VENTUM GRANITE TILE ADHESIVE SERIES №508 (25 kg) This is a high-strength cement adhesive specially produced for laying granite, natural and artificial stone, as well as large-format ceramic tiles. Manufactured by VENTUM Company in Uzbekistan. The adhesive is used for both interior and exterior work, including complex operating conditions: humid zones (bathrooms, pools), underfloor heating systems, terraces, facades, and high-load areas. It provides excellent adhesion, resistance to temperature changes, and enhanced strength, making it ideal for working with heavy and large-format materials.
Features:
- Type: High-strength cement adhesive (C2TE S1 class according to EN 12004)
- Packaging: 25 kg (paper or plastic bag)
- Composition: High-quality cement, mineral fillers, polymer modifiers, non-woven fibers
- Application: Laying granite, natural and artificial stone, large-format ceramic tiles, mosaic
- Compatibility: With concrete, cement-sand screeds, bricks, gypsum board, old tile coverings, underfloor heating systems, and other bases
- Consumption: 3–7 kg/m² (depending on tile size and layer thickness, with a 6–12 mm notched trowel)
- Layer thickness: 3–15 mm
- Working time of the mixture: Approximately 2 hours after mixing
- Tile adjustment time: 15–25 minutes
- Drying time: Walking — after 24 hours, grouting joints — after 24–48 hours, full load — after 7–14 days
- Application temperature: +5°C to +35°C
- Temperature resistance (after drying): -40°C to +90°C
- Color: Grey
Advantages:
- Excellent adhesion: Reliably bonds heavy and large-format granite and natural stone, even on complex bases.
- Elasticity: Polymer additives and non-woven fibers increase resistance to deformation, suitable for underfloor heating systems and exterior work.
- Water resistance: Hydrophobic properties make it suitable for pools, bathrooms, and other humid environments.
- Load resistance: High mechanical strength is suitable for high-traffic areas such as shopping centers or public places.
- Versatility: Used for various types of granite, stone, and tiles, including large-format materials, for both interior and exterior work.
- Ease of use: Easily mixed, has high plasticity, and does not slip during vertical laying, making it easier to work with large tiles.
Application features:
- Purpose: Used for laying granite, natural and artificial stone, large-format ceramic tiles, and mosaic on walls and floors in both interior and exterior spaces. Suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, pools, terraces, facades, underfloor heating systems, and high-load areas.
- Surface preparation: The base must be clean, dry, strong, free of dust, grease, and loose parts. Priming is recommended for complex or absorbent surfaces (e.g., old tile coverings) to improve adhesion.
- Preparation: Gradually add dry mix (0.2–0.24 liters of water per 1 kg) to water and mix with a mixer until a homogeneous mass is obtained. After 5–10 minutes, mix again.
- Application: The adhesive is evenly applied with a notched trowel. The tile or stone is gently pressed into place, and adjustments can be made within 15–25 minutes. Joint width — 2–12 mm.
- Maintenance: Excess adhesive is removed with a damp cloth before it sets. Grouting joints is possible after 24–48 hours, full load after 7–14 days. Tools should be rinsed with water immediately after use.
Storage conditions: Store in a dry place, in a sealed package, at temperatures from +5°C to +30°C. Shelf life — 12 months from the date of manufacture.
