VENTUM Beton Kontakt 003 (23 kg) — a high-quality adhesion primer designed for preparing smooth and non-absorbent surfaces before applying decorative materials. This product ensures strong adhesion of gypsum, cement, or polymer plasters, putties, tile adhesives, and decorative coatings on difficult surfaces such as monolithic concrete, reinforced concrete, ceramic tiles, glass, expanded polystyrene, or old paint coatings. The primer, based on acrylic dispersion and quartz sand, roughens the surface, significantly improving the adhesion of subsequent layers. Used for both interior and exterior work (protected from direct rain). Due to its ecologically clean composition, it is safe to use in living spaces and contains no solvents. Resistant to alkaline environments, ensuring long-lasting decorative coatings.
Features:
- Type: Adhesion primer (ready for use)
- Packaging: 23 kg (plastic bucket)
- Composition: Acrylic dispersion, quartz sand, polymer additives, water, functional additives
- Application: Preparing smooth and non-absorbent surfaces (monolithic concrete, reinforced concrete, ceramic tiles, glass, expanded polystyrene, old paint coatings) before applying gypsum, cement, or polymer plasters, putties, tile adhesives, or decorative coatings. Used for interior work in residential, commercial, and public buildings, as well as for exterior work (protected from direct rain).
- Compatibility: Compatible with gypsum, cement, and polymer plasters, putties, and tile adhesives
- Consumption: 0.2–0.35 kg/m² (depending on surface type, smoothness, and application method)

- Non-sticky state: at +20°C and 60% humidity — 2–4 hours
- Full drying: 12–24 hours (depending on temperature, humidity, and ventilation)
- Application temperature: +5°C to +30°C
- Usage temperature: -20°C to +70°C
- Color: Light grey (for controlling evenness of application)
- Features: Solvent-free, vapor-permeable, resistant to alkaline environments, improves surface adhesion, regulates absorbency
- Density: ~1.7 g/cm³
- pH: ~8–9
- Adhesion to concrete: At least 1.0 MPa when fully dry
Advantages:
- High adhesion: Ensures strong adhesion of decorative materials on smooth and non-absorbent surfaces, prevents delamination of coatings.
- Ready for use: Does not require dilution with water or mixing, simplifying the process and saving time.
- Versatility: Compatible with various surfaces (concrete, tiles, glass, expanded polystyrene) and decorative materials (plaster, adhesive, putty).
- Ecological purity: Contains no solvents or harmful substances, safe for use in living spaces, vapor permeability ensures a healthy microclimate.
- Ease of use: Light grey color helps control evenness of application, leaves no voids. Can be applied with a brush, short-pile roller, or sprayer.
- Economy: Low consumption (0.2–0.35 kg/m²) provides economic benefits when processing large areas.
- Durability: Resistant to alkaline environments, aggressive components of plasters and adhesives, as well as temperature changes, maintains coating quality for a long time.
- Easy maintenance: Tools used can be washed with water while the primer is still wet.
Application features:
- Purpose: Preparing difficult surfaces (monolithic concrete, reinforced concrete, ceramic tiles, glass, expanded polystyrene, old paint coatings) before applying plaster, putty, tile adhesive, or decorative coatings. Used for interior work in residential, commercial, and public buildings, as well as for exterior work (protected from direct rain). Recommended for ‘tile-on-tile’ systems and processing of factory-made concrete elements.
- Surface preparation: The surface must be strong, dry, clean, free of dust, grease, voids, or low-adhesion old coatings. Metallic surfaces should be treated with an anti-corrosion agent. If the surface is porous, it should be cleaned and treated with a fungicide. Highly absorbent surfaces should be pre-treated with a penetrating primer (e.g., IsolBau Tiefengrund PRO) 4 hours prior to application.
- Preparation: The primer is ready for use. Before application, thoroughly mix the composition in the bucket (using a low-speed mixer) to ensure even distribution of quartz sand. Dilution with water is not recommended, but up to 1% water can be added when applying with machinery.
- Application: Apply in a single, even, thin layer using a brush, short-pile roller, or sprayer (with appropriate nozzles). Avoid excessive layer thickness, as this may reduce adhesion. Work should be carried out at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C and with air humidity below 70%. Avoid direct sunlight, rain, and drafts during application and drying.
- Maintenance: Tools should be washed immediately after use with water while the primer is still wet. The applied layer is protected from moisture, dust, and mechanical impacts for 12–24 hours. Subsequent decorative work (plastering, putting, tile adhesion) should only be carried out after the primer has fully dried (12–24 hours, depending on conditions).
- Safety measures: Work in a well-ventilated area, use protective gloves and, if necessary, protective goggles. Avoid contact of the primer with eyes and skin. If contact occurs, rinse the skin with plenty of water. Store out of reach of children.
Storage conditions: In a hermetically sealed original container, in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Do not freeze, as this may affect the product’s properties. Shelf life — 12 months from the date of manufacture (as indicated on the packaging).
