VENTUM IZOSTOP №520 (10 kg) This is a two-component elastic hydroinsulation mixture based on cement, designed to protect construction structures from water penetration. Produced by VENTUM Company in Uzbekistan. It consists of a dry component (cement with mineral fillers and chemical additives) and a liquid component (latex emulsion). Used for hydroinsulation of high-moisture areas (bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, pools, terraces), water reservoirs, foundations, basements, and deformable structures. Suitable for both internal and external applications, ideal before tiling or plastering.

Features:

  • Type: Two-component elastic hydroinsulation mixture (C2TE S1 class according to EN 12004)
  • Packaging: 10 kg (dry component) + 4.5 kg (liquid component, latex emulsion)
  • Composition: Dry component: high-quality cement, mineral fillers, polymer additives; Liquid component: latex emulsion
  • Application: Hydroinsulation of bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, pools, terraces, water reservoirs, foundations, and basements
  • Compatibility: With concrete, cement-sand screeds, brick, gas concrete, gypsum board, and other bases
  • Consumption: 1 mm layer — 1.2–2 kg/m² (typically applied in 2 layers, total consumption — 2.4–4 kg/m²)
  • Layer thickness: Each layer — 1–2 mm, 2 layers recommended
  • Mixing time: Approximately 1 hour after components are mixed
  • Setting time: Walking on surface — after 24 hours, applying finish (tile, plaster) — after 3–7 days, full hydroinsulation strength — after 7–14 days
  • Application temperature: +5°C to +35°C
  • Temperature resistance (after drying): -30°C to +80°C
  • Color: Gray (after mixing)

Advantages:

  • Elasticity: The mixture is elastic due to latex emulsion and suitable for deformable and flexible surfaces.
  • High adhesion: Strongly adheres to various bases, including concrete, brick, and gas concrete.
  • Waterproofing: Effectively protects against water penetration, suitable for pools and water reservoirs.
  • Versatility: Used for both internal and external applications, before tiling (VENTUM GRANITER® or VENTUM KONFOR®).
  • Ease of application: Easily mixed and evenly applied with a brush, roller, or trowel.
  • Durability: Resistant to moisture, temperature fluctuations, and mechanical loads.

Application specifics:

  • Purpose: Used for hydroinsulation of high-moisture areas (bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, pools, terraces), foundations, basements, and water reservoirs. Suitable for deformable surfaces.
  • Surface preparation: The base must be clean, dry, sturdy, free of dust, grease, and loose particles. Priming of absorbent surfaces is recommended.
  • Preparation: Dry component (10 kg) and liquid component (4.5 kg) are mixed in the specified ratio until a homogeneous mass is obtained using a mixer or drill attachment. After 5 minutes of resting, mix again.
  • Application: Applied in 2 layers with a 4–6 hour interval between them using a brush, roller, or trowel. The first layer is applied evenly, the second layer perpendicular to the first. Total layer thickness — 2–4 mm.
  • Care: For the first 24 hours, the coating must be protected from direct sunlight, rain, wind, and cold. Application to frozen surfaces is prohibited. Tiling or plastering is done after 3–7 days. Walking on the base is allowed after full drying.
  • Safety measures: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If it gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a doctor. Do not inhale dry component dust.

Storage conditions: Dry place, hermetically sealed packaging, temperature +5°C to +30°C. Liquid component stored in a dark place at +5°C to +23°C. Shelf life — 12 months from the date of manufacture.
