MEGAMIX Beton Kontakt (10 kg) — a high-quality adhesive-type primer designed for preparing smooth and non-absorbent surfaces before applying plasters, jointing compounds, and adhesive mixtures. Produced by MEGAMIX, known for its reliable construction mixes. The primer creates a strong adhesive interlayer (so-called ‘bridge’) ensuring reliable bonding of finishing materials with complex bases such as concrete, reinforced concrete, ceramic tiles, or old coatings. The product is ideal for interior work but can also be used outdoors provided manufacturer recommendations are followed. Thanks to the inclusion of quartz sand and polymer additives, MEGAMIX Beton Kontakt forms a rough surface significantly improving adhesion of subsequent layers.

Application features:

• Purpose: Used for preparing smooth and non-absorbent bases (concrete, reinforced concrete, old paint coatings, ceramic tiles, glass) before applying gypsum or cement plasters, jointing compounds, tile adhesives, or decorative finishes. Suitable for interior work in residential, commercial, and public spaces, as well as for exterior work provided protection from direct precipitation.
• Surface preparation: The surface must be clean, dry, free of dust, grease, delamination, loose areas, or old coatings with poor adhesion. Metallic elements must be treated with an anti-corrosion compound. If mould is present, the surface must be cleaned and treated with a fungicide.
• Preparation: The primer is ready to use. Before application, thoroughly stir the contents of the bucket for even distribution of quartz sand. Do not dilute with water or mix with other materials.
• Application: Apply with a brush, roller, or brush in an even layer. It is recommended to apply in a single layer, avoiding excessive thickening. For large areas, a spray gun can be used provided proper adjustment. Work at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C and relative humidity not exceeding 70%. Avoid drafts and direct sunlight during application and drying.
• Care: Clean tools with clean water immediately after use while the primer is still wet. Protect the applied layer from moisture, dust, and mechanical impact for 12–24 hours. Subsequent finishing work (applying plaster, jointing compound, or adhesive) should only be carried out after the primer has fully dried.
• Safety measures: Work in a ventilated area, use protective gloves, and, if necessary, protective goggles. Avoid contact of the primer with eyes and skin. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water.

Storage conditions: Store in a sealed package in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Avoid freezing. Shelf life — 12 months from the date of manufacture.
