ELERON TILE ADHESIVE 04

ELERON TILE ADHESIVE 04 – a Portland cement-based adhesive with polymer additives for bonding ceramic tiles, ceramic granite, and natural stone (including granite) to walls and floors. Suitable for both interior and exterior work, humid areas (bathrooms, kitchens), facades, terraces, and 'warm floor' systems. Used on concrete, cement-sand, brick, gypsum board, and damp surfaces. Provides high adhesion, cold and moisture resistance, and stability against tile shifting. Ecologically safe, meets quality standards.

Application

• Limitations:
  • Not used on wooden, metal, or plastic surfaces without special preparation.
  • Not applied at temperatures below +5°C or in rain.
  • For tiles larger than 60x60 cm, ELERON C-02 or similar strong adhesive is recommended.

Application Instructions

1. Clean the surface of dust, dirt, grease, and old coatings. Ensure the base strength (≥15 MPa).
2. Apply deep-penetrating acrylic primer to increase adhesion.
3. Mix the adhesive with clean water (0.2–0.24 l per 1 kg, 5–6 l per 25 kg) to a uniform consistency using a drill mixer. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes, then remix.
4. Apply the adhesive with a notched trowel (tooth size: 6–8 mm for ceramic, 10–12 mm for ceramic granite).
5. Press and level the tile within 15–20 minutes.
6. Remove excess adhesive with a damp sponge before it sets.
7. Fill grout lines in walls after 24 hours, in floors after 48 hours.
8. Protect from drafts, direct sunlight, and temperature fluctuations for 24 hours.
9. Rinse tools immediately after use.
10. Store in a dry place, out of reach of children.
