ELERON 04 KAFEL KLEY

ELERON KAEL KLEY 04 – tile adhesive based on Portland cement with polymer additives, designed for laying ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, and natural stone (including granite) on walls and floors. Suitable for interior and exterior works, wet rooms (bathroom, kitchen), facades, terraces, and underfloor heating systems. Applied on concrete, cement-sand, brick, gypsum board, and plastered surfaces. Provides high adhesion, resistance to cold and moisture, and prevents tile slippage. Environmentally friendly, complies with quality standards.

Application

• Limitations:
  • Not recommended for use on wooden, metal, or plastic surfaces without special preparation.
  • Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C or during rain.
  • For laying tiles larger than 60x60 cm, it is recommended to use a stronger adhesive, such as ELERON C-02.

Application method

1. Clean the surface from dust, dirt, grease, and old coatings. Ensure the strength of the base (≥15 MPa).
2. Treat the surface with a penetrating acrylic primer to increase adhesion.
3. Mix the adhesive with clean water (0.2–0.24 l per 1 kg, 5–6 l per 25 kg) to a homogeneous consistency using a construction mixer. Let it stand for 5–10 minutes and mix again.
4. Apply the adhesive with a notched trowel (size of the teeth depending on the tile size: 6–8 mm for ceramics, 10–12 mm for porcelain tiles).
5. Press the tile and align within 15–20 minutes.
6. Remove excess adhesive with a damp sponge before it hardens.
7. Grout the joints on walls after 24 hours, on floors after 48 hours.
8. Protect from wind, sunlight, and temperature changes for 24 hours.
9. After work, thoroughly wash the tools with water.
10. Store in a dry place, out of reach of children.
