Instructions

  1. Surface preparation:
    • Clean the surface of dust, dirt, and old coatings using a brush or sandpaper.
    • Apply primer (Megamix 1/7) to improve adhesion and let dry for 4–6 hours.
  2. Mix preparation:
    • Mix plaster or joint compound (SOBPLUS) according to instructions (e.g., 6–7 L water per 25 kg mix).
    • Ensure the mix is homogeneous, without lumps.
  3. Application:
    • Load the mix onto the trowel using a trowel or narrow blade.
    • Apply the mix to the surface with smooth movements at 30–45°, evenly distributing the layer.
    • Use long horizontal or vertical motions for leveling.
    • Layer thickness: 1–3 mm (depends on mix and task).
  4. After use:
    • Clean the blade of leftover mix immediately after use, rinsing with water or wiping with a damp cloth.
    • Store the trowel in a dry place to prevent damage to the wooden handle.
